Newest Program: #63

Audio: News/Commentary

Welcome to the online home of the Human Rights Patrol - these are half-hour commentary programs produced by Mbanna Kantako himself on various issues of the day, with specific focus on issues affecting Africans in America.

Other topics touch on a broader range of social justice issues, and affiliates of the Human Rights Information Network check in from time to time to provide updates on how their handling FCC incursions and harassment.

Probably one of the most refreshing things about the HRP is its candor - Kantako himself admits:

You get to hear a conversation that some black folks have in this country about our circumstances. And most folks haven't had an opportunity to hear a conversation like this 'cause this doesn't help the social order...Conversations like this have been going on in our community for quite some time...I'm not going to make the pretense that all black folks are diggin' on where we coming from, and this ain't for everybody.
