From Little Head

Sing along - lyrics here!

Official web site: Johnhiatt.com

Songwriter extraordinaire John Hiatt spans genres like the rest of us put on pants: it's no big deal. His career is legendary, not only for his own performance-based accomplishments but for the list of musicians who have paid tribute to him in both note and deed.

Released on Hiatt's album Little Head in 1997, "Pirate Radio" is quite a thoughtful track about the commercialism of the radio dial. It pays tribute to both the border blasters of yore as well as the microbroadcasters of today.
